Kristy Jahn

At a very young age Kristy became interested in art and design, and eventually took private lessons from a local artist.  Although she attended IPFW for a few semesters, she never finished because of personal reasons. She ended up taking a long break from her art because she became too critical of herself and decided it would be best to give it up. Feeling drawn again to this gift and creativity dwelling inside  of her, she decided to give it another try. But this time she would let her fears and fault-finding self go. She felt like a child again, enjoying creating with her Creator. Out of her came such simple pieces that she now calls Abstract Romanticism.  Kristy feels her work reveals a raw, untamed & unashamed expression of life, joy, and freedom that can only be found in Christ Jesus.
