I wouldn’t trust original artwork from a two-time Caldecott Gold Medalist to just anyone.  Acting on a recommendation from our board treasurer, I took a piece donated by Chris Raschka to Charley for framing.  He picked a color for the inner matting that I had never considered—and accentuated the piece brilliantly!  The artwork became the showpiece of our auction, and I have never considered another framer since.  Whether I am working on family keepsakes, the Artists of Reading gallery for an agency fundraiser, or the “Person of the Year” certificates for the Notre Dame Club of Fort Wayne, I am always thrilled with the masterpieces Charley crafts.  He and his assistant, Chasidy, are exceptionally warm and gracious, and their generosity in enriching our community is equally laudable.  I wholeheartedly endorse Charley and Northside Galleries!

Charlie, I wanted to thank you for being a creative visionary. You helped me with last years Easter Seals “Festival of Trees” tree topper of W&D’s Santa. I had an idea and you made it come true. Recently I gave you a picture and a finger painting that my three yr.old, two yr.old and 8 month old grandchildren did for Papa and Nana. Again, I had an idea but you put the final touches to it. You help me frame a master piece it turned out great.

Hi, Charlie, I feel pretty honored that you ask me to write a testimonial for you. It is special that I received this e-mail tonight. When Danny got home from work we hung the picture of our college diplomas that you framed recently. On that same wall is our “Lakes Magazine” articles, my CASA award, Danny’s Knights of Columbus award, the framed McNally’s Pub tee shirt and my very favorite, the WWII tribute to my dad.
